On May 18th, 2024, the 30th anniversary of the EU-Uzbekistan Partnership Festival took place at the Botanical Garden of Uzbekistan. Dr. Sardor Azam from Central Asian University (CAU) and Mr. Alisher Pulatov from Westminster International University in Tashkent (WIUT) proudly represented the CirculEC project in the festival.
Federico II University has warmly welcomed colleagues from ten universities and research institutes from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan, as part of the new Erasmus+ CirculEC project. The project, which will conclude in 2026, aims to develop an innovative master's degree focused on the strategic themes of sustainable development and circular economy, with a multidisciplinary approach that combines skills and knowledge from different areas of knowledge.
Last Thursday 25th and Friday 26th of April we have had in the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration of the USC the visit of a delegation of 11 universities from Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan.
The Central Asian delegation from a total of four countries (Kazasthan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan) in the CirculEC project has made its way to Bielefeld. On Monday, April 22, 22 project members from Central Asia arrived at FHM Bielefeld for two days. The journey will then continue to Spain and Italy.
This initiative is a stepping stone towards creating a more sustainable and resilient future through education. The International Workshop Series on Circular Economy are organized within the Erasmus + Project. Links to additional materials will be provided during the Webinar.
We are thrilled to announce an upcoming series of transformative workshops designed to integrate Circular Economy disciplines into academic curriculums. This prestigious event will embark on a journey starting in Bielefeld, then moving to Santiago, and concluding in Napoli.
The initial online kick-off meeting took place on December 7th and 8th, 2023. This meeting was centered around presentations from partners. During the Kick of meeting project officer (EU) Ms Maria Sol welcoming all partners of project and answered questions.
The first study visit will take place at the FHM in Bielefeld, Germany, Universidade de Santiago de Compostela, Santiago de Compostela, Spain; University of Naples Federico II, Naples, Italy from 18 April - 6 May, 2024. 2 representatives from each partner's universities will participate in the study visit.
