CirculEC at the Eurasian Climate Talks in ABU

As part of the Autumn Climate School held at Alikhan Bokeikhan University, a dedicated platform on Circular Economy was organized, highlighting the contribution of the ERASMUS+ CBHE CirculEC project to climate education and sustainable development in the region.
During the session, the CirculEC project and its key results were presented to students and academic staff from three universities of Semey. The activities included:
- interactive trainings on circular economy practices for students of ABU, Shakarim University, and Semey Medical University;
- a workshop hosted at the "Aikos" Tire Recycling Plant, where participants explored real industrial applications of circularity and waste-to-resource solutions;
- discussions on how the CirculEC outputs support the transition to sustainable production and responsible consumption in Kazakhstan and Central Asia.
The event strengthened collaboration between academia, industry, and local communities, showcasing practical opportunities for integrating circular economy principles into education and regional development.
The CirculEC team expresses gratitude to all partners and participants for their active engagement and commitment to promoting circular solutions.
