Professors from Central Asian Universities Explore Innovation in Sustainability in Germany!

Date: 27.03.2025

From March 16-21, 2025, Professors from Central Asian Partner Universities, attended a series of productive trainings on circular economy in Bielefeld, Germany, organized by FHM University. Following these insightful sessions, they embarked on an enriching journey to visit local hubs and companies in Lemgo and Berlin.

During their visit, they explored the Lemgo Innovation Campus, a dynamic hub dedicated to fostering innovation across various sectors. This campus brings together education, research, and industry to create a collaborative environment for developing cutting-edge technologies and solutions.

They also visited NochMall in Berlin, a unique secondhand store and reuse/recycling hub that promotes sustainability and waste reduction by giving well-preserved items a second life instead of discarding them.

The invaluable lessons learned from these trainings and field trips will help develop new courses and update existing ones at Central Asian Partner Universities.

The trainings were part of the EU's Erasmus+ project "CirculEC," proudly carried out by Central Asian Partner Universities collaboration with a consortium of renowned European universities.
