Development of innovative curricula and modules in Circular Economy and Sustainable Development

On December 20, the International Erasmus+ conference "Perspectives of Higher Education Development in Uzbekistan" " was held, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of cooperation between the European Union and Uzbekistan in the field of higher education within the framework of the Tempus (1994-2014) and Erasmus+ (2014-2027) programs.

The international conference, held at the National Research University "TIIAME", was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation, national Erasmus+ offices of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan and their HERE experts, Erasmus+ project coordinators, Tempus project participants, representatives of the National Research University management, professors, teachers, doctoral students and students.

Representing the Tajik State University of Commerce, Professor Zarrina Kadyrova from the Department of Economics and Business presented the university's experience in implementing Erasmus+ projects. In her presentation, she focused on the CirculEC project, along with other Erasmus+ initiatives, highlighting the contributions of TSUC and project partners in promoting the principles of a circular economy and sustainable development. She also underscored the significance of international cooperation between universities in Central Asia and Europe in reforming higher education in Tajikistan and in the region.
