TSUC at the Erasmus+ Information Day in Dushanbe

On December 16, 2024, an Erasmus+ Information Day was held in Dushanbe, organized by the National Erasmus+ Office in Tajikistan under the topic "Erasmus+ Opportunities in Tajikistan: Globalization of Higher Education." The general objective of the Erasmus + Programme is to support, through lifelong learning, the educational, professional and personal development of people in education, training, youth and sport, in Europe and beyond, thereby contributing to sustainable growth, quality jobs and social cohesion, to driving innovation, and to strengthening European identity and active citizenship.

The event was attended by the First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Ambassador of the European Union to the Republic of Tajikistan, representatives of international organizations, as well as university leaders, faculty members, and students from various Higher Education Institutions in the country.

During the event, Vice-Rector Jamshed Mashokirov presented "The Experience of the Tajik State University of Commerce in Implementing Erasmus+ Program Projects (KA1 and KA2)," highlighting the university's achievements in the implementation of Erasmus+ projects, particularly the results achieved in current projects (CBHE) such as E4TLI (Technology Literacy and Inclusion) and CIRCULEC (Development of Innovative Curricula and Modules in Circular Economy and Sustainable Development). The E4TLI project aims to update the knowledge of faculty members and students, as well as society as a whole, through the acquisition of knowledge in the field of digital transformation. The CIRCULEC project focuses on enhancing human capital potential in higher education institutions in Central Asian countries within the framework of a circular economy and sustainable development.

It is noteworthy that participants in the Information Day expressed interest in the results of these two TSUC projects, indicating the significance and relevance of the initiatives presented.
