ERASMUS+ Circulec online workshop series for Central Asia stakeholders
A series of online workshops for stakeholders in the Central Asia region has successfully concluded with the final event held on October 9, 2024, in Uzbekistan. The "Stay of Play" Analysis Validation Workshop, organized as part of the Erasmus+ project CirculEC (Development of Innovative Educational Programs and Modules on Circular Economy and Sustainable Development), brought together key figures from Kazakhstan (October, 1), Turkmenistan (October, 2), Tajikistan (October, 3), and Uzbekistan (October, 9) to validate the findings of the recent "Stay of Play" analysis and collaboratively discuss ways to enhance and innovate within the region.
Participants from diverse sectors, including technology, education, government, private industry, and non-governmental organizations, engaged in in-depth discussions on the topics "Implementing Circular Economy Education in Higher Education: Key Findings" and "Stakeholder Analysis". These discussions highlighted both the challenges and opportunities identified in the analysis, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of how circular economy principles can be better integrated into the educational systems of Central Asia.
These discussions are expected to serve as a foundation for future initiatives aimed at fostering development and innovation across Central Asia.
